A BPI Environmental Consultant will conduct a thorough visual inspection of the interior walls, attic and basement, as well as the exterior foundation, gutters, down spouts and landscaping to look for signs and causes of water seepage and mold. An infrared camera and moisture detecting equipment will be used to detect unseen problems. A flow pan test will be performed on bathroom fans to insure proper ventilation of moisture. The water heater and furnace will also be inspected for proper ventilation, and a CO2 test will be performed.
Plus, you will receive professional advice on ways to prevent water intrusion and improve the air quality of your home. Inspection may take up to two hours.
