There are two ways to submit ballots/drawing entries, online or in print. (1) ONLINE -- Submit your online ballot by clicking the Official Ballot tab above (see Welcome Page for instructions). (2) PRINT -- Send in an official Star of Madison Print Ballot, published during the contest duration in the Wisconsin State Journal. LIMITS: Limit one (1) online ballot per day. No limit to the number of print ballots you may submit. Only original print ballots will be accepted; no photocopies or facsimiles are allowed.
For each online ballot submitted, you will receive up to five (5) entries into the drawing. Each classification must have a minimum of half of the categories filled in to qualify for the prize drawing. Each classification with at least half of the categories filled in will count as one (1) entry into the drawing.
Print Ballots are divided into classifications, with each individual ballot representing one classification. A different ballot will be published each day from June 17 to June 27, 2010. All five ballots will be published in the Star of Madison Special Section distributed with the Wisconsin State Journal on Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Print Ballots may also be dropped off in person at Capital Newspapers, 1901 Fish Hatchery Road in Madison (must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2010).
Winners will be selected in a random drawing by promotion coordinators from among all eligible print and online entries received before the deadline. Winners will be notified by phone and/or e-mail and names published in the Wisconsin State Journal. Print Ballots are available at no charge at the Capital Newspapers front counter, 1901 Fish Hatchery Road in Madison. Limit 1 free ballot per day, per person.
Sponsored by Capital Newspapers, which shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, cost or expense arising directly or indirectly in connection with this contest or prize and whose decisions in all matters are final. Void where prohibited. Submission of drawing entries or other participation constitutes acceptance of all rules. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Madison.com reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Madison.com reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliate's' office.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Capital Newspapers reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

UPICKEM and Capital Newspapers are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
Capital Newspapers reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
