Results will be published in the Answer Book, distributed as a free insert in the Wisconsin State Journal on Tuesday, August 24th.
Prize winners will also be announced to the public in the Answer Book, but notified individually before July 9th.
Vote for your favorite Madison institutions in each of five classifications: Food & Drink, Retail, Health, Entertainment/Leisure and Services. Each ballot submitted will count as up to five entries into a drawing for fantastic prizes! See drawing details below.
How does it work?
Register for a user account if you haven't already.
Click on "Official Ballot" tab.
View the list of categories and write in your favorites. You do not have to complete every category; however, a minimum of half of the categories in a given classification must be completed to qualify for entry into the drawing.
Submit your ballot.
You may submit one ballot per day. Voting runs from June 16th through June 28th.
Are there prizes?
You bet! Six voters will be randomly selected to receive a prize, including the Grand Prize of a 42" Flat Screen TV! For each classification you fill out that has AT LEAST HALF of its categories completed, you will receive an entry into the drawing. That's up to FIVE entries per day! (If you do not fill out at least half of the categories in a given classification, your votes will still count, but that classification will not count as an entry into the drawing.)
Star of Madison voting runs concurrently online at madison.com and in print in the Wisconsin State Journal. The drawing will be completed from both print and online ballots. See Official Rules for details.
